Draught measurement
Furnace and Incinerator Draught Measurement
Most furnaces and incinerators work under a slight suction or negative pressure.
This is usually around minus 50 Pascals (-50Pa) to maintain the correct draught on the heat process ensuring fuel efficiency and control of emmissions.
Incinerator pressure control differential pressure -50Pa.
By measuring the suction in the combustion chamber and feeding the 4-20 mA signal to a controller, the position of the exhaust damper can be controlled thus maintaining optimum conditions for the process.
The FCO352 Differential Pressure Transmitter is designed to meet this important measurement with its high sensitivity and low range.
